Personnel Change in the Top Management of Toshiba Tec Germany Imaging Systems GmbH

Neuss/Germany, June 2026 – Toshiba Tec Germany Imaging Systems GmbH (TGIS) announces the appointment of Kei Kato as new President & CEO, effective July 1, 2026.

Kei Kato began his career at Toshiba Tec Corporation in April 2001 after graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University with a degree in Economics. Over the years, he has held key positions in sales, business planning, and executive management.

His early career included responsibilities in OEM Sales and European Sales, where he supported strategic development, customer relationships, and financial performance. From 2010 to 2015, he already served at TGIS in Neuss as Senior Manager for European Business Planning, overseeing pan European targets and organisational development. In 2015, he was appointed Deputy Managing Director of Toshiba Tec in UK, supporting the company’s regional leadership and business expansion. End of 2017 Kei Kato returned to Toshiba Tec Corporation to take on senior roles in the Americas & Oceania Department, where he was responsible for financial performance, internal governance, and strategic alignment. From 2021 to early 2022, he led the Overseas Subsidiaries Supporting Department as Group Manager and later Senior Manager, strengthening communication and operational consistency across global subsidiaries. Since February 2022, he has served as Senior Vice President of Toshiba America Business Solutions, where he supported the CEO and oversaw day-to-day management, strategic development, and coordination with Toshiba Tec headquarters in Tokyo.

Now Kei Kato returns to Germany and succeeds Yukihiro Noro who assumed the position as CEO of the company in January 2026 as planned for six months – in addition to his role as Vice President responsible for the European Supply Chain Management Center (ESCM), the European Business Planning Division (EBP) and the International Distribution Division (IDD) at TGIS.
